Each month, I learn and record a song by one of your favorite artists (or one of mine) and post it on my website. This month, I've posted a new one that I've written.
The Song of the Month for Jan/Feb/March (maybe we should call it "song of the quarter"?) is titled "How We Began."
My old friend Yohei Nakamura (www.myspace.com/yoheinakamuramusic) joins me on this recording. After teaming up for a few years in Boston, we now find ourselves forced to collaborate from afar. I recorded my parts here in Charlotte and emailed the files off to Yohei in Los Angeles. He learned the song and recorded his own guitar line, and then sent his audio files back to me. A few mouse clicks later, we had Dan and Yohei together in the same musical space!
