Dan will join 7 other finalists at the Plowshares showcase in Phoenixville, PA on March 15.

Dan was chosen as one of the top 100 artists of 2007 by Radio Crystal Blue (www.radiocrystalblue.com).

Dan will play a showcase set at the 14th Annual New Jersey Folk Festival on Saturday April 26.

Dan has been selected to compete for a spot in the finals of the Starbucks Music Makers Competition. The Semi-Final round will take place on September 6th. Vote for dan at www.starbucksmusicmakerscompetition.com

"Son of the Ground" earned Runner Up honors at the 2007 Singer/Songwriter Awards, an international contest based in London.

Dan and 9 other finalists were selected from a pool of 666 submissions to compete for the top songwriting prize at the The Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June 21-24).

Dan is one of three finalists selected to play at the Rose Garden Coffeehouse on May 19. The three finalists will play two songs each, followed by feature performer April Verch. The winner will be selected at the end of the evening.

Dan is one of ten songwriters selected to perform in the final round of the Wildflower! Performing Songwriter Competition in Richardson, TX. Unfortunately, he won't be able to make the trip to Texas due to a conflict with the Rose Garden Performing Songwriter Competition finals on May 19. Nice to get so much love!

Dan's song Public Square was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2007 Singer/Songwriter awards (www.wearelistening.org).

Dan was recently chosen to be the "One to Watch" artist on Rob Reinhart's nationally syndicated Acoustic Cafe program. As part of the program, one of Dan's songs from Public Square aired on Boston's 92.5 The River.

Son of the Ground, a track from Dan's 2006 release Public Square, recently received honorable mention at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriting Competition.
